TechCheat does not collect, sell or share your personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
What stays on your device
- Cards you save, cards you have viewed, quiz scores and problems marked as solved, stored in a local database on your phone.
- App settings such as theme and notification time.
This information never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app or using "Reset progress" in Settings deletes it.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily tip, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No server is involved and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.
Home screen widget
The optional Android widget shows the tip of the day using data stored on your device.
Purchases
TechCheat is currently free. If optional in-app purchases are offered in the future, payments are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment details.
Links and sharing
When you tap a link (for example to weegix.com) or share a card, the app hands off to your browser, email app or share sheet. Those apps and websites have their own privacy policies.
Children
TechCheat is a general audience reference app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
