Privacy Policy — FamSync

FamSync (“the app”) is a family organizer app published by Weegix Technology Solutions LLC (“Weegix”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles and how we protect it. We have designed FamSync to collect no data at all.

In short: FamSync works fully offline and stores everything only on your device. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no server of any kind behind FamSync. We show no ads and never sell data — because we never receive any.

1. Information we collect

None. FamSync has no account system, no login, and no cloud backend of any kind. Every piece of information you enter into the app —

family member names, roles, and photos
tasks, daily plans, and routines
shopping lists and items
expenses and recurring bills
challenges, meeting notes, learning entries, and vision board items

— is stored in a private database on your device only. None of it is transmitted to Weegix or to anyone else. We have no way to see it, because it never leaves your phone.

2. Information we do NOT collect

No names, email addresses, or phone numbers sent to us
No location data
No advertising identifiers; the app contains no ads
No analytics or tracking of any kind
No cloud account, sync, or backup — unless a future update adds this as an explicit, opt-in feature, in which case this policy will be updated first

3. Permissions the app requests, and why

Photos — only if you choose to add a profile photo for a family member. The photo is compressed and saved to the app's local storage; it is never uploaded anywhere.
Notifications — to remind you about tasks you've scheduled. Notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device.
Internet — used only if you tap an outbound link inside the app (such as a link to weegix.com or an email address), or if a Google Play purchase is in progress. FamSync's own data never uses your internet connection.

4. Purchases

If FamSync offers an optional purchase (such as a one-time unlock), payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we never see or store your payment card details. Google's handling of payment data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Children's privacy

FamSync is a general household organizer intended for use by adults managing their family's day-to-day life. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children — in part because it does not collect information from anyone. Family members listed in the app, including children, are stored only on the device where the app is installed and are never transmitted anywhere.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is stored on your device for as long as the app remains installed. You can permanently erase everything at any time from Settings → Reset all data inside the app, or by uninstalling the app. Since nothing is stored off-device, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.

7. Data security

Because FamSync never transmits your data anywhere, there is no data in transit to secure. Data at rest is protected by your device's own operating system and storage security (e.g. your phone's lock screen and disk encryption).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if a future optional cloud-backup feature is ever added. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and any new data collection would be clearly disclosed and, where required, opt-in.
